Judge William Wayne Justice

The aptly named Judge William Wayne Justice grew up amidst segregation in Athens, TX and resented it from a young age. His unpopular school desegregation order in United States v. Texas (1970) exposed him to social ridicule for the rest of his life in East Texas.
