Juanita J. Craft Civil Rights House

Craft frequently hosted members of the NAACP Youth Council and other young residents of Dallas at her home on Warren Avenue. She believed that children were a community’s most precious resource and devoted her life to training others who might shape the future of civil rights in Dallas. Many legends of the civil rights movement also visited Craft’s home, including Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Her home became a local landmark in 1999 and operates as the Juanita Craft Civil Rights House Museum. | Source: https://mccoycollaborative.com/portfolio-posts/jj-craft-house/
