Upshur Construction - 1941

This file appears in: Upshur Rural Electric Cooperative

The construction of the URECC building in 1941 is a good example of the interaction of New Deal programs. The National Youth Administration often loaned money for public works projects, as it did to URECC, a New Deal creation, and provided young workers for it as part of NYA’s work relief program. The video shows scenes from the construction.
