Ratcliff CCC Camp

The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Camp F-4-T was built in Ratcliff in 1933 and 1934. The men housed in this camp helped build Davy Crockett National Forest. Texas was home to over ninety CCC camps. These camps included barracks, a mess hall and a bathhouse. Ratcliff CCC Camp F-4-T closed in 1941.
