Irene Pineau was Jack's third and final wife. He described her as his one true love. They were married for the last 21 years of his life until he was killed in an automobile accident. His second marriage was met with great controversy because of his supposed violation of the Mann Act and his one year of prison in Leavenworth. The betrayal of his second wife Lucille Cameron left Jack in despair and fearing that he could never trust anyone again.
