Ernst W. Bertner

Ernst W. Bertner had been there to give Anderson medical advice time and time again. He obtained experience in battlefield medicine, which helped him realize that he needed more training. He underwent residency in surgery, urology, and gynecology at Johns Hopkins. During his time at Johns Hopkins, many cancer patients lives slipped from his grasp, and he recognized that cancer patients lives were doomed without research for a cure. These motives pushed him to dream of a state cancer hospital. | Source:
