Ima Hogg with University of Texas architect, Wayne Bell, at historic Winedale, 1967.

Winedale was one of many historical restorations for which Hogg would be recognized. In 1953, Hogg's work was acknowledged by Texas Governor Allan Shivers, who appointed her to the Texas State Historical Survey Committee. In 1967, that committee acknowledged her "meritorious service in historic preservation."
