The 1940 Air Terminal was once the hub of activity at Hobby Airport. Due to the shift of services to Houston Intercontinental Airport in 1969, however, by the end of 1978 the building was empty. Preservation efforts kept the building operational until developers converted it into the 1940 Air Terminal Museum in 2004.Download Original File
