Fastrill Logging Camp, horses

Horses pull cut lumber from the forest at the Fastrill Logging Camp in East Texas. The Fastrill Camp, part of the Southern Pine Lumber Company operation, was one of the largest in Texas. In operation for close to twenty years, Fastrill had over 200 loggers who cut and shipped 50 million feet of logs a year. | Source: The History Center
