4-C Sawmill

Built in 1902 and in operation for 16 years, the 4-C Mill was the largest sawmill in Texas and produced 300,000 feet of lumber a day. Operated by Louisiana and Texas Lumber, the mill was named for Central Coal and Coke Company, which owned the lumber company.
